When not in use, the awning is discreetly housed within a cylindrical cassette casing, while robust double spring-loaded arms, tensioned by twin stainless steel sheathed cables, ensure the fabric remains taut whether the awning is partially or fully extended.
Furthermore, its convenient end block construction requires only a fixing point at each end for simple mounting, and the slim dimensions of the cassette casing ensure it remains unobtrusive on the façade, making it ideal for spaces where size is a limiting factor.
Tortola Awning
With its streamline cylindrical shape and robust yet simple end fix design, the Tortola patio awning stands as our most popular residential retractable model. Powerful folding arms, featuring twin springs tensioned via double stainless steel sheathed cables, ensure the fabric remains taut at every position, while the unobtrusive full cassette casing fully protects both the fabric and mechanism when the awning is retracted.
Thanks to the narrow dimensions of the cassette casing, this awning is particularly effective where wall space is limited, such as on extensions, and simplifies installation due to its end fixing points which may require bespoke brackets.
